In the idyllic ambience of Sevnica Castle, the pearl in the necklace of the Castles of Posavje, we prepare a unique culinary & wine event with the tastings of the best Blaufrankisch wines, a selection of culinary delights, a prize game, a concert of pairing Wine and Music, a guided tour of the castle and cultural and musical programme with the music group Kranjci ...
No entry fee!
Deposit for a glass = 5 EUR.
Vouchers: 1 voucher = 1 EUR
Food vouchers: 1 voucher = 3 EUR
Glasses and vouchers will be sold at a designated stand at the entrance to the castle park. Upon returning the undamaged glass to the cashier, you get the refunded deposit. In case you do not return a glass (or return the damaged one), the deposit will remain EUR 5 for the organizer. Returning a glass will only be possible on the stand at the entrance to the castle park until 22.30.

Presentation of the producers and tasting of all the Blaufrankisch wines.
SELECTED CULINARY
During the festival, the culinary part will be taken by the selected chefs from Dolinšek Restaurant, Restaurant Ajda (Hotel Ajdovec) and Bowling Deluxe, who will prepare typical Posavje dishes and design a combination of the wines and dishes. The best Blaufrankisch presented at the festival will thus create a unique culinary bouquet with selected dishes.

Exhibition of Blaufrankisch Wines and prize-winning tasting of wines
All the samples of Blaufrankisch Wines, which arrived at this year's tasting competition, will be displayed in the castle's Wine Cellar. You can try and evaluate different Blaufrankisch Wines. Among all the participants, at the announcement of the results at the castle park at 20:30, there will be three lucky winners who will receive the original practical prizes of the organizer!

Visit of the ceremonial rooms, Baroque hall, conference halls, frescoed tower, old classroom, firefighting collection, castle puppet theater, castle chapel, collection of fine arts of Ivan Razboršek, Moscon's gallery, collection View of the author Rudi Stopar, castle`s Wine Cellar, Castle Vineyard, Blaufrankisch Wine Cellar and Lutheran Cellar. Even in case of bad weather. For all visitors of the festival, guided tour is free. No prior registration is required.

Performance by The Kranjci group
The group Kranjci presents themself with an extremely wide spectrum, quality and quantity of music. The repertoire of instrumental music enriches unique events of the most famous classical compositions, melodies with elements of ethno and folk music from all over the world, and performances of evergreen and contemporary hits.
The program will be hosted by Ciril Dolinšek and Annemarie Culetto.
